When you're traveling on business, you have two options: executive apartments or hotels. When you are in town for a week or longer, it can be much more advantageous to go the route of an apartment. If you're not convinced, there are 7 reasons why you should avoid spending all of your money at a hotel.
More space. Hotels can be cramped. There's no real division of rooms so you tend to eat, sleep and relax all in the same general area. With executive apartments, you have more space - and multiple rooms. More affordable. Hotel costs can add up very fast. When you want to save a little money for yourself or the company you're traveling for, executive apartments can be considerably cheaper. As opposed to paying by the night, you pay by the week or the month - which can make a big difference on the total bill. Fully furnished. Having furniture in every room is more important because it will make you feel more at home. Executive apartments will provide you with a large bed in the bedroom, a desk, a dining room table, a couch, a lounge chair and much more. Some models will even provide you with a guest room so you can choose to have a second co-worker in the apartment with you - saving you even more money. Kitchen. Cooking some of your own meals can be just what you need when you're away from home for an extended period of time. Eating out every day can be tiring, expensive and unhealthy. Executive apartments have a kitchen with all the amenities. This way you can do some grocery shopping and then cook breakfast, lunch and dinner as often as you'd like. Maid service. Hotels have maid service but sometimes you don't want them there. After all, they come in daily - and usually at the most inopportune times. With an apartment, you choose the frequency in which they come. They'll take care of garbage, washing dishes, changing the sheets, cleaning the bathroom and any other issues you may be having. WiFi. Not all hotels have WiFi which means you may be unable to get some work done. This isn't going to help you get ahead any. Instead of spending all of your time and money at a local coffee shop or the internet café down the road, executive apartments will provide you with the WiFi you need. In addition, you actually get a desk and desk chair to make yourself more comfortable to get as much work done as needed. More comfortable. Not only are you limited on space but a hotel room can be very cold. The furniture may be hard as a rock and you have limited amenities. Executive apartments are different in the fact that they have comfortable furniture for you to sit and lay on and there are various amenities - such as art on the wall and other little touches to make you more at home.
